In a new video, the Society of St. Pius X looks back at its seminary's roots in three different locations before settling in its new home in Virginia
On the same day that 7 new priests and 9 deacons were ordained in Winona, MN, a new video was released showing the progress that the new seminary project has made in Virginia.
Winona had been the home for the American seminary of the SSPX from 1988, and held its final ordinations ceremonies on June 3, 2016. In the fall of 2016, seminarians, priests, and other religious will move to a new home in rural Virginia which has been years in the making. It is also the first time the SSPX has had a seminary in the United States which has been - from inception to occupation - intended for this purpose.
