Minor Orders and Perpetual Engagements 2024

On the Feast of Our Lady of Compassion, which falls on the Friday of passion week, Bishop Fellay ordained 17 seminarians to the Minor Orders. 13 seminarians (11 Americans, 1 Nigerian, and one Japanese seminarian) received the Orders of Porter and Lector, and 4 seminarians (3 Americans including one Benedictine Monk, and one Irishman) received the Orders of Exorcist and Acolyte. Following the reception of Orders 5 seminarians (4 Americans and one Australian) made their perpetual engagement into the Society of St Pius X.
Please pray for all these seminarians, and also remember today the Sisters of the Society of St Pius X, as Our Lady of Compassion is their Patron.
